When I'm not doing philosophy, I enjoy gourmet cooking and fine dining, daydreaming about becoming an Episcopal priest and/or planting an emerging church, and (obviously) watching movies and TV.
I grew up in the Midwest (I lived the first 12 years of my life at Scott Air Force Base, IL, just across the river from St. Louis, MO) and the South (I went to Jr. High and High School in Louisville, KY). Since then I have spent the first part of adult life on the West Coast (I lived for 15 years in Southern California with a brief sojourn in the San Francisco Bay Area) before moving to Texas in 2010.
I currently live in Houston with my wife Anastasia and our daughter Margaret.
